No More Shooting Brake for the Next-Gen Mercedes-Benz CLS

The Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake enjoyed quite a following when it came into production in 2012. But a new report indicated that the bosses in Stuttgart are planning to discontinue the series. According to the UK-based CAR, Mercedes is looking to drop the Shooting Brake variant of the CLS after releasing only one generation of the car. The source noted that the move was a part of the company’s cost-cutting measure. RevoZport was quick to follow up on the recent unveiling of the Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake by introducing its new tuning package for the car. The kit includes visual and aerodynamic enhancements for the body of the vehicle, plus some tweaks in the engine. Starting with the exterior, the RZA-290 Aerokit of the tuner brings about a couple of striking updates in the styling and aerodynamics of the CLA Shooting Brake. The test mule was seen with a small amount of camouflage, which virtually revealed its complete design.
