Recently, the upcoming Mercedes S-Class Maybach was spotted again while it was making its rounds in the Nurburgring endurance track. YouTube user TouriClips uploaded a video of the actual testing, which can be watched below: What gave the car away as a Maybach was its noticeable longer wheelbase. Then, the wider C-Pillar revealed that the car has more leg-room in its rear cabin. While the current S-Class already allows a nice stretching room for its passengers, comparing the upcoming Maybach with the earlier variants dwarfs them in size. Two-Week Old 2014 Mercedes S-Class Caught Fire

A new 2014 Mercedes S-Class sedan, which was only two weeks fresh from the Mercedes-Benz dealership, reportedly caught fire along one of the streets of Southern Deutschland. Citing a Merkur article, Carscoops claimed that the flames started in the engine compartment of the car. The photo provided by the primary source showed that the fire consumed and created a gaping hole in the hood of the car. Mercedes Remains on Top of US Luxury Car Market

Mercedes-Benz continues to maintain its lead over its competitors in the US luxury car market. In fact, Bloomberg has reported that it was able to widen its sales gap between its major rivals BMW and Audi with its record sales in February.
