Mercedes-Benz Building New Battery Factory In Jawor, Poland

In a bid to extend its network of battery factories to nine countries in three different continents, Mercedes-Benz is building a battery factor in Jawor, Poland, a town just 100 km away from the German border. Daimler AG appears bent on expanding its presence in Central and Eastern Europe. The German luxury vehicle manufacturer recently established a transmissions facility in Romania along with an assembly plant in Hungary. Mercedes-Benz Unimog and Zetros Win Off-Road Rallies

Proving themselves as the best when it comes to harsh terrains and challenging environments, the Mercedes-Benz Unimog and Mercedes-Benz Zetros emerged victorious at the 2015 Wroclaw Poland extreme road rally, which is Europe’s biggest and most-demanding license-free off-road events.
