PerformMaster Boosts the Output of the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4-Door

A little over three years ago, the mechanics of PerformMaster dipped their hands on the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4-Door Coupe to massage its output to 730 hp. That’s 10 hp more than the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series released just last year. Now, they’re at it again, and this time, they have surpassed their previous work with a more powerful tuning kit for the car. Performmaster Gives a Last Hoorah to the V8 Mercedes-AMG C63

The gradual electrification of all Mercedes-Benz models has led to the phase-out of some V8 and V12-bearing units. One of the casualties is the Mercedes-AMG C63, which is about to ditch its V8 powertrain in favor of a smaller engine partnered with an electric motor to produce a plug-in hybrid setup. As a last salute to the outgoing AMG C63’s V8, Performmaster recently unveiled its project called the “C63 V8 Final Edition”. PerformMaster Mercedes-AMG G63 Gets More Output than the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series

This month has been all about the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series. Its 720 hp output makes it one of the most powerful production cars in the world today. On the sidelines this week though is PerformMaster’s latest project with the Mercedes-AMG G63 because the tuner managed to boost the performance of the iconic sport utility vehicle above the level of the Black Series. In its stock configuration, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine of the AMG G63 already produces 577 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. Performmaster Gives the Mercedes-AMG C63 S Estate 612HP

The Mercedes-AMG C63 S Estate already packs quite a kick in its V8 engine. But seeing more room for improvement, car tuner Performmaster gave it 102 hp more with an additional 141 Nm in its torque. The stock configuration of the C63 S Estate’s 4.0-liter biturbo engine already gives off 510 hp similar to the Mercedes-AMG GT S. Then it also offers 700 Nm of torque. These enable it to accelerate from zero to 62 mph in just 4.1 seconds, and build up an electronically-limited speed of 155 mph, or up to 174 mph with the optional AMG Driver’s Package.
