Spy photos of the Mercedes GLE Coupe, the supposedly BMW X6 buster surfaced again. The photos this time are believed to be the AMG variant of the luxury SUV. Based from the hinted upgrades in the styling of the vehicle in the photos, autoblog claimed that we might be looking at a Mercedes-AMG GLE Coupe. It could also be the AMG Sport version. The source speculated that if the SUV would be a full-blown AMG model, then it might carry the same 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine powering the Mercedes-AMG GT sports car. We have revealed months ago that Mercedes-Benz is currently gearing for the release of the Mercedes C450 AMG Sport, a mid-range C-Class variant aimed to bridge the performance gap created by the C400 and the C63 AMG. It should be noted that the two mentioned models have a 121 hp difference, with the former having 329 hp under its hood and the latter having 450 hp. The rumored Mercedes C450 AMG Sport will sit in between 329 hp and 450 hp in order for the company to balance the power differences between its standard and full AMG C-Class cars. The Mercedes-Benz MLC was spotted again recently being tested while under camouflage, according to a recent report from wordcarfans.com. The images of the upcoming vehicle from Mercedes-Benz also showed a view of its interior cabin. The vehicle on the pictures has some similarities to the Concept Coupe SUV that was unveiled during the Beijing Motor Show. Spy shots of the sportier Mercedes-Benz MLC were taken as the vehicle undertakes an early development tests in Europe. To be officially launched in 2015, the Mercedes-Benz MLC is said to compete against the BMW X6. Built with the standard ML body (M-Klasse platform), the MLC is expected to be more smart than the M-class and with styling elements that include bespoke headlights, wider wheel-arches, re-profiled roofline and a sportier interior features that give additional comfort. When Mercedes-Benz CEO Dieter Zetsche announced the other day that 2015 would see the launch of several new models, he didn’t give a clear idea of what those models would be.  Now, a teaser from Mercedes-Benz has revealed that one of the new models will be a crossover vehicle called the MLC.Although the teaser pic does shows a crossover-type vehicle, the sloping rear contour for the roof is reminiscent of the CLS, and, dare we say, BMW’s X6?
