Lewis Hamilton isn’t going to get the smooth-sailing title-clinching run he likely hoped for before this weekend at the Mexican GP. The championship leader will have to start from the second row of the grid on Sunday, after Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel secured the 50th pole position of his career. Lewis Hamilton Not Happy with Mexican GP Strategy

Lewis Hamilton doesn’t appear to be pulling back even if he was already guaranteed of the Formula One World Drivers’ Championship this season. After the Mexican Grand Prix he voiced out his dismay about the decision of his team to call for a pit stop. According to a report from BBC Sport, he felt that it denied him the chance to win the race. Hamilton said in his interview that he didn’t agree with the move, but he followed it anyway. F1: Rosberg wins 2015 Mexican GP; Mercedes gets 10th 1-2 finish of season

There may have been no point to the race, with the titles all decided already, but Nico Rosberg brought his A game nonetheless. The Mercedes F1 driver took home the trophy in the first Mexican Grand Prix in 23 years, winning the race from pole position while topping teammate and recently crowned Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton. The win gives the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team its tenth 1-2 finish of the season. It is Rosberg’s fourth victory this season and 12th in his career, and he also set the fastest lap during the race.
