With an emphasis on mobility, Mercedes-Benz is launching the new GLA with a campaign in Germany that’s under the banner “always restless”—something that highlights the boldness and flexibility of the compact SUV line. According to Mercedes-Benz Cars Head of Marketing Communications Dr Jens Thiemer, the new GLA is one “in which to take on all the hurdles of everyday life” and as such, the campaign will feature the vehicle in a variety of situations and settings, from city driving to travels on deserts and gravel. However, with sustained growth so far this year and a number of initiatives already in place, reaching those goals is definitely possible. A Mercedes-Benz GLA prototype was spotted being tested recently Nürburgring. However, the taxi sign mounted on the roof of the vehicle attracted the attention of industry watchers. CEO Tweets Upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLA

The latest Mercedes-Benz GLA was tested by the German luxury vehicle manufacturer in Death Valley recently. This test was tweeted by Steve Cannon, the CEO and President of Mercedes-Benz USA. The tweet shows the best glimpse of the soon-to-come small crossover vehicle of Mercedes-Benz. In the Tweet, Cannon indicated that it was 110 degrees in Death Valley during the test. Shanghai Debut For GLA Concept Of Mercedes

The plan of Mercedes-Benz in unveiling the GLA concept during the Shanghai Auto Show was confirmed recently by the CEO of Daimler, Dieter Zetsche. Zetsche made the confirmation during a press conference that was held in Germany recently. The executive indicated that the production model of the luxury vehicle will be launched in September during the Frankfurt Auto Show. No specific details were revealed by the Daimler boss at the press conference.
