Mercedes-Benz Gets Strong Sales in Canada Last Month

Today, Mercedes-Benz Canada released its sales report for the month of May. So far, it showed a strong performance of the brand in the country. According to Canada Newswire, a grand total of 3,300 Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter and Smart cars were sold last month in Canada. This year marks a total of 14,028 units sold via the MB Canadian retail network alone. There was a recorded figure of 2,820 units retailed for the passenger cars luxury light trucks sold in the country. The breakdown is as follows: 1,618 passenger car units were sold while the luxury light truck’s side accounted for the remaining 1,202. Epic Arctic Trip Comes to a Conclusion

Mercedes-Benz Canada just announced the conclusion of its Sprinter Arctic Drive. The big press release came on January 30, 2013 which was also the time when the big event was completed. The journey started in Edmonton, Alberta on January 22, 2013. Then, the expedition went through northern British Columbia, the Yukon and all the way to Alaska way past the Arctic Circle which exposed the participants into one of the worlds most dangerous weather conditions. Mercedes-Benz has just opened the first facility in the world that’s dedicated to the development and production of fuel cell stacks. That’s what Mercedes-Benz Canada recently celebrated, as they inaugurated the new 3,300-square meter facility in the British Columbia city of Burnaby. Mercedes-Benz Canada Posts Record April Sales

It’s not just in the US where Mercedes-Benz was able to post record sales for the month of April—Mercedes-Benz Canada also reported that the 3,249 vehicles it delivered last month accounted for a 13.7% gain on the year-on-year comparative figures and helped it reach a record figure for the month. To be more specific, the record monthly sales for April were in the passenger and luxury light truck segments, with a grand total of 3,029 units delivered.
