LEGO Technic Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3245 Unveiled

One memorable joint project between Daimler and LEGO was a Unimog made out of LEGO pieces. The latest collaborative work between the two companies produced the LEGO Technic Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3245, as shown on a report from autoevolution.com. The complex toy truck is technically-accurate and comes with all the mechanical features found on an actual Mercedes-Benz Arocs, including the suspension system, frames, drives, lifts, and steering. The Aroc truck of LEGO has a total of 2,793 components, Power Functions, and a number of the latest pneumatic actuators of LEGO. Mercedes-Benz Dubs Euro VI-Compliant Truck Line the ‘A-Team’

In a recent media article, Mercedes-Benz referred to its new Euro VI-compliant heavy-duty truck line as the ‘A-Team’, which actually started in 2011. After continued refinements and constant development, the three truck models, the Actros, Antos, and Arocs (pictured), are now fully compliant with the emissions standard. Retro Classics 2013: Mercedes-Benz to Showcase 14 Classic Construction Vehicles

Mercedes-Benz will be exhibiting 14 classic construction vehicles at the Retro Classics 2013 show, along with a trio of modern dump trucks and a couple of heavy-duty truck models. These trucks will be in the commercial vehicle section of the show, which will run from March 7 through 10 in Stuttgart, Germany. On hand will be the 5.0-tonne spur gear hub drive truck, which was made by Daimler starting in 1908 all the way through 1911. Mercedes-Benz Arocs World Premiere Rounds Out Heavy-Duty Truck Range

The Mercedes-Benz Arocs, the third model in the automaker’s heavy-duty construction vehicle lineup, just had its world premiere in Munich last January 28, rounding out a diverse complement of Euro VI trucks that already had the Actros and the Antos. Operators and contractors in the construction sector can look forward to the launch of the Mercedes-Benz Arocs, a new line of trucks and tractors that should meet a wide array of needs. With 16 different output variants—from 238 horsepower all the way through to 625 horsepower—and configurations of 2 to 4 axles, the Arocs range is designed to diversify.
