Inden Design and Binz Sport Work on Mercedes-Benz A-Class

Binz Sport and Inden Design have worked together on a couple of modified Mercedes-Benz A-Class (W 176) units, with the custom cars set to be shown in Hattingen at an upcoming Mercedes-Benz meet. The A-Class models in question have been given some ‘small but effective’ design modifications. There’s a carbon-fiber front spoiler lip, carbon side sills, and a carbon-fiber rear diffuser with cutouts for the quad exhausts that are the same as the ones on the C 63 AMG Black Series. New Mercedes-Benz A-Class, B-Class, CLA-Class Models Available

Mercedes-Benz has just launched a whole bunch of new models for the A-Class, B-Class, and CLA-Class. There are some  new efficient entry-level options as well as a line-topping CLA 45 AMG Edition 1. There are new base diesel variants for the A- and B-Classes. You have the A 160 CDI that comes in at 90hp with a price tag of 25,882.50 euros (around $33,800) and the B 160 CDI with the same engine at 27,310.50 euros (around $35,700). Is Daimler Exploring Producing Mercedes-Benz Cars in Mexico with Nissan?

Daimler is said to be eyeing joint car production with Nissan in Mexico, according to reports. It seems the German company is looking into various options to get production of certain Mercedes-Benz cars, such as the A-Class, through Nissan facilities in the country. According to a Daimler official who wishes to remain anonymous, the joint production in Mexico has a good chance of pushing through. Mercedes-Benz Goes Green with Bio-Based Polyamide Engine Cover for New A-Class

In a bid to become more environment-friendly without sacrificing product quality and vehicle safety, Mercedes-Benz decided to go for a new high-performance bio-based polyamide to make the new A-Class engine cover. The  material from DSM mostly makes use of renewable resources, with raw materials derived from Ricinus communis, or the castor plant. The compound will be used on the new A-Class turbo petrol variants, which means the covers have to be able to withstand over 200 degrees Celsius while retaining stability and without warping.
