Daimler Tweaks Management Culture Based On Study

It seems the all work and no play adage has influenced mighty Daimler AG too. MBUSA senior management appointments

Two people will be taking on major roles in Mercedes-Benz USA’s product management and fleet operations departments in lieu of a recent promotion in the company’s top management line. Effective immediately, outgoing Product Development General Manager Bernie Glaser is replaced by M. Bart Herring, who will be reporting directly to Glaser who has been promoted to Mercedes-Benz USA vice president for marketing. Herring will be taking charge of lifecycle and product management strategies to provide full support for the marketing and sales of Mercedes-Benz light trucks and passenger cars. Mercedes To Appoint New US Head In The Coming Days

On the heels of its dismissal of the former head of its US operations, Mercedes has announced that it will be appointing Ernst Lieb’s replacement in the coming days. Aside from this short announcement, not much else has been released by the company regarding the surprising turn of events. There is also no word on whether the replacement CEO will come from the company’s headquarters in Germany. Lieb Fired Due To Financial Misdeeds

When it was announced earlier in the week that Ernst Lieb was removed from his position as CEO of MBUSA, speculation was rife as to the cause, because no reason was given by the company for the sudden decision. In light of improved Mercedes-Benz sales under Lieb’s helm, the decision to remove him from his position as head of MBUSA was all the more baffling.
