Pictures of the upcoming 2015 Mercedes-Benz M-Class have emerged in the past. However, these pictures show a heavily-camouflaged unit from the luxury vehicle manufacturer. The latest pictures to emerge of the upcoming SUV offering of the Germany-based manufacturer show a vehicle with a lot less cover, according to a report from worldcarfans.com. The key to the Popemobile was handed over by Daimler AG Board Chairman and Mercedes-Benz Cars head Dr. Dieter Zetsche to Pope Francis during a private meeting held at the Vatican recently. The M-Class was built specifically for Pope Francis, who will use it during an official visit to Brazil at the end of the month. The company has provided vehicles for official trips and appearances of the Roman Pontiff in over eighty years. The first vehicle that the company provided was a Nürburg 460 Pullman saloon in 1930. Public Service: Recall of the G-Class and M-Class W166’s Weather Floor Mats

Recalls were announced by Mercedes-Benz, the first one is for the all-weather floor mats of the M-Class W166. As their press release said, it is necessary to recall the mats since it comes in contact with the gas pedal and it could cause it to jam. This affects the all-weather floor mats that were produced from July 2011- July 2012, in which 8700 units were sold in the United States and 2800 were sold in Germany. Readers of the automobile magazine “Auto Motor und Sport” once again, hailed Mercedes-Benz cars as the best cars in their categories. The Mercedes M-Class  is the best car in the SUV category while the SLS AMG is the best convertible car. The SLS also got the “Best Car of the Year” for the third year. According to the magazine, the M-Class was honored for its striking design and high-quality interior, as well as energy efficiency and for being environment friendly. Meanwhile,  the SLS AMG was hailed due to its intelligent construction and other safety factors.

Mercedes M-Class Nominated in the North American Truck of the Year Award

US and Canadian media people will vote once again for the North American Car and Truck of the Year awardees. For the past 18 years, these distinguished persons votes for the best of the best, and this year, actually next year, in Janary 2012, the winners will be announced.
