The Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe has finally shed all its camouflage. Recently, its manufacturer finally revealed the official photos of the SUV. As hinted by the spy photos that have been circulating previously, the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe is more like a facelifted version of the ML with just a new name. It should be noticed also that some of the styling upgrades in the SUV were adopted from the S-Class Coupe. The Mercedes-Benz GLE coupe is baring more skin as days go by, which means its launching might be sooner than expected. However, several sources claimed that the mid-size sport utility vehicle will not be launched until the latter part of 2015, so we will just have to wait for further details from Mercedes and see about that. First the mid-class SUV of Mercedes-Benz was categorized as the M-Class. Then, it was rebranded to ML-Class. Now, a facelifted prototype of the range is in the works, and sources refer to it as the Mercedes-Benz MLE. Spy shots of the upcoming SUV in camouflaged form were also captured from Nürburgring as it was being given a test run. Check out the spy photos caught by Inautonews below as the SUV cruised the endurance track: The platform and the exposed armor of the vehicle clearly showed its strong resemblance to the ML.   Mercedes-Benz is currently facing a high demand for its sport utility vehicles in the United States. The demand is such that Mercedes-Benz USA already warned that the supply for its SUV’s would be tight, similar to the CLA issue earlier. To address the impending shortage, Mercedes is expanding the operations of its Alabama plant to be able to accommodate the production of additional 60,000 vehicles annually. Presently, there are four types of vehicles being manufactured in the four million square-foot Tuscaloosa, Alabama plant of the three-pointed star brand namely the C-Class Coupe, M-Class, GL-Class SUV and the R-Class crossover. In my previous article, it was revealed that Mercedes-Benz is gradually implementing its renaming strategy. One of the affected would be the popular M-Class. Read the article here for more information on the story. I agree that the decision of Ola Kaellenius is very smart move, because it lets customers interrelate the products of the three-pointed star brand easily. It basically bridges a relationship between the larger variants of the German marque with their sedan counterparts. A new set of pictures of the Mercedes-Benz M-Class Coupe or the Mercedes-Benz ML Coupe have emerged recently, according to a report from motorautority.com. The Concept Coupe SUV that was unveiled during the recent Beijing Auto Show is the basis of the latest utility vehicle of the luxury car manufacturer. Although the recently-sighted vehicle was camouflaged, it had a similar overall profile and detail. IIHS Gives the 2014 Mercedes E-Class a Top Safety Pick+ Rating

Mercedes-Benz is not only a brand known for providing customers with elegant, comfortable, technologically-advanced and high-performance vehicles, it is also praised for its top-of-the-line standards when it comes to safety. Recently, the marque’s 2014 Mercedes E-Class was tested by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. As expected, the results were nothing short of impressive. In fact, the vehicle even gained the Top Safety Pick+ rating. It should be noted that the 2014 Mercedes E-Class is the second vehicle from the brand to earn such distinction.
