Mercedes-AMG GT3 Edition 55 Unveiled for AMG’s 55th Anniversary

The high-performance division of the three-pointed star marque recently unveiled the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Edition 55 in commemoration of AMG’s 55th founding anniversary. The car will be hand-built at the race car plant of the company in Affalterbach, and will only be limited to five units. Compared to the standard AMG GT3, the Edition 55 is not an FIA homologated car so its maker had no restrictions on its aerodynamics, weight, and mechanicals. Mercedes-AMG A45 and CLA 45 Edition 55 Launched to Celebrate AMG’s 55th Anniversary

AMG celebrates its 55th anniversary this year. To mark this event, the three-pointed star marque released the Mercedes-AMG A45 and CLA45 Edition 55. According to a press release from the Mercedes-Benz Group, the limited-edition models are available to order this May until December 2022. However, the deliveries of the units are expected to start later this year. The new models take off from the base AMG A45 and CLA45, but with special body works to make them stand out visually. The aesthetic enhancements in the cars are highlighted by a Cosmos Black Metallic exterior finish with contrasting AMG emblems and decals near the door sills. A limited edition vehicle was launched by Mercedes-Benz into the Japanese market as a follow up to the Mercedes-Benz Night Edition that was released near the start of the year. The latest limited edition being offered by the luxury vehicle manufacturer is the Mercedes-Benz B180 Northern Lights Black Edition. Only two hundred fifty units will be manufactured for this limited edition compact MPV. It will feature a distinctive purple exterior paint, LED daytime running lights, bi-xenon headlights, folding mirrors, and headlight washer.
