Mercedes-Benz is in the Top Spot of the US Market

Days away until the end of 2017, Mercedes-Benz is leading the premium car segment of the U.S. market, beating its rivals BMW, Audi and Lexus. According to Bloomberg, Mercedes is looking to close the year as the number one luxury car brand in the country. On its way to the month of December, the three-pointed star marque was already ahead of its rival BMW by 30,000 vehicles. That’s about a month’s worth of deliveries. Mercedes Sales in June Overtaken by BMW

BMW AG’s BMW luxury car brand just overtaken Daimler AG’s Mercedes-Benz as well as Toyota Motor Corp.’s Lexus in terms of sales in the United States in the month of June. The three mentioned brands are by far the best performers in the US luxury car segment. However, Mercedes sales are the highest based on a half year data. According to a report from Bloomberg, BMW sales in US fell by 10 percent last month. The brand only reflected sales amounting to 28,473 units. Based on a popular benchmarking platform, Mercedes-Benz is the most popular car brand in the digital media for the first half of 2014. The assessment of the top car brands in the world was facilitated by eBench. The period covered was from January 1, 2014 to June 30, 2014. The automakers that were included in the study, aside from Mercedes-Benz, were Audi, BMW, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Lexus and Land Rover.
