Mercedes-Benz is the Most Successful Brand on Instagram

The Mercedes-Benz channel on Instagram just reached 1 billion “likes”, making it the most successful brand on the photo and video-sharing social networking service. The research done by T4Media also showed that the German automaker has a fan base of over 35.66 million on the site. Mercedes is the first of the “International Best Global Brand 2018” named by US brand consultancy firm Interbrand to achieve such a feat. To celebrate the milestone, the company made a special website that commemorates the best contents it has posted since it launched its IG channel in March 2012. The Mercedes-Benz GLC was only unveiled last June 17. The debut of the new SUV was held at a special event organized by its maker in Stuttgart, Germany. Almost immediately after the release of its official photos, one artist redesigned some images of the vehicle to come up with a rendering of its performance model. How do you want your Mercedes-Benz GLA to look? Mercedes-Benz USA proudly announced that customers can now decide ways on how to customize their GLA. Just following the world premiere of the SUV last month, MB USA launched through the Instagram photo-sharing platform an interactive app that would allow customers to personalize how their vehicles will appear. The tool offered through Instagram provides various ways the user to choose the color, grille, wheel, and roof of his or her Mercedes-Benz GLA. Based on a popular benchmarking platform, Mercedes-Benz is the most popular car brand in the digital media for the first half of 2014. The assessment of the top car brands in the world was facilitated by eBench. The period covered was from January 1, 2014 to June 30, 2014. The automakers that were included in the study, aside from Mercedes-Benz, were Audi, BMW, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Lexus and Land Rover.
