The Mercedes-AMG GT R is set to make an appearance during the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Before it makes it official appearance at the event, a spy video showed the impressive sound made by the successor to the AMG GT as it was undergoing tests, as shown on a report from motorward.com. The impressive sound is essentially exhaust noise. The AMG GT R has on central tailpipe unlike the standard AMG GT. The Mercedes-AMG GT R is expected to make an appearance in the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year, as shown on a report from motor1.com. The Mercedes-AMG GT is currently available as a standard model offering 462 HP of power while the S version has a power output f 510 HP. Since the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine may be considered as a relative new engine, it has a good amount of potential, which means some versions may offer better performance. A prototype of the Mercedes-AMG GT-R was caught by spy cameras while going through tests, as shown on a report from autoevolution.com. The last time it was seen was close to the Arctic under heavy camouflage as it hunkered down a snow-covered road. While the pre-production prototype spotted recently had some of its camouflage removed, it only revealed a small amount of details, including the headlights as well as its possible color. The Mercedes-AMG GT was caught on camera again while going through testing in cold weather conditions, as shown on a report from gtspirit.com. The venue for the cold-weather tests conducted by engineers of the luxury vehicle manufacturer was northern Sweden.
