A prototype of the Mercedes GLC Coupe was spotted again, as show on a report from worldcarfans.com. Aside from its camouflage, the GLC Coupe also sported a roof box as it went through final testing. The new spy video shows the luxury vehicle about to be transformed by the German company into a crossover coupe to go up against the X4 of BMW. As the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe is being prepared to be launched, images of the BMW X4 rival emerged recently in Sweden, shown on a report from autoevolution.com. The GLC Coupe prototype spotted by spy photographers appeared to be the closest one can get to a production model. This particular unit still had some camouflage covering the front bumper as well as the entire back of the vehicle. Due to this, it is not easy to make out the complete shape of the luxury vehicle. The Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe is expected to be released into the market soon after the Concept GLC Coupe was previewed during the Shanghai International Auto Show 2015. However, no one was able to predict that Mercedes-Benz will include a Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe plug-in hybrid in its lineup, as shown on a report from autoevolution.com. A video of what appeared to be a plug-in hybrid variant of the GLC emerged recently. The extra fuel filler cup gave it away as a possible plug-in hybrid. Mercedes-Benz recently unveiled the photos of its Concept GLC Coupe. A teaser image of the concept SUV was also shown through a tweet of the Stuttgart-based auto manufacturer hours prior to the vehicle’s official public debut. The upcoming compact SUV certainly showed a striking resemblance with the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, which production just started at the Tuscaloosa plant of the three-pointed star marque. The GLC Coupe is more like a toned down or more compact form of the GLE Coupe. According to the press release of Daimler, the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe will measure 4.73-meter long with a 2.83-meter wheelbase and 1.60-meter height.
