Three prototypes of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe were caught on camera recently, as shown in a report from autoevolution.com. Seeing prototypes like the E-Class Coupe in Stuttgart is not unusual since the luxury vehicle manufacturer does its best work in the area. Similarly, it is also not unusual to see a Porsche 911 in the same area since Porsche is also based in Stuttgart. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe and E-Class Convertible are expected to be among the answers of Mercedes-Benz to the BMW 6 Series. The E-Class Coupe and Convertible are based on the W213 E-Class with the Coupe version expected to be officially unveiled in 2017. The Convertible may see the light of day later in the same year and production is expected to start in 2018. The E-Class Coupe was spotted recently while going through tests somewhere in Germany, as shown on a report from autoevolution.com. A facelifted Mercedes CLS was recently caught on video during its test drive near Stuttgart. Not much effort was made to hide the features of the car. Only its emblems were kept hidden during its run, which gives us a clear view of its full body. The pricing for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet and Coupe for the UK market was released by the luxury auto manufacturer from Germany. The new Cabriolet and Coupe offer better fuel efficiency and come with a number of enhanced features such as the latest Stereo Multi-Purpose Camera. MBUSA Issues Recall For A Few E350 And E550 Coupes

In case you’re not yet aware, Mercedes-Benz USA has issued a recall for some 2012 E350 and E550 Coupes. Specifically, for those cars manufactured between April 2, 2012 and June 29, 2012. The cause for the recall is the discovery of an improper stitching procedure affecting the right window curtain airbag. On affected vehicles, there is the possibility that the window curtain air bag may not work as designed. The improper stitching will not actually affect the deployment of the airbag. Rather, the stitching that was not done to spec may cause the deployed airbag to deflate more quickly, thus reducing the protection that the airbag would actually provide. This… Continue Reading »
