Mercedes-Benz is setting its sights on the Audi TT and BMW 2 Series. According to UK’s AutoCar, the three-pointed star brand is planning to release an entry-level coupe that would be its answer to the said model from its rival. Citing sources within the company, the report claimed the new Mercedes-Benz coupe will replace the A-Class in 2019. It will carry a two-door design, and it will be based on the second-generation MFA platform of Mercedes. Most of the styling features of the car will be lifted from the Mercedes-AMG GT. There are reports right now saying that Mercedes AMG Petronas is planning to implement team orders in the following races this season. Of course, this matter did not sit well with a lot of Formula One fans.
