Mercedes-AMG CEO Hints Plans for Hybrid Supercar

Mercedes-AMG may be planning something in its backyard. A report suggested that the performance division of the three-pointed star brand responsible for the Mercedes-AMG GT may be considering a hybrid supercar. If so, then we might be looking at the marque’s answer to the Porsche 918 and McLaren P1. Mercedes GLE63 AMG Coupe Teaser Video Revealed

The Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe is yet to debut at the Detroit Auto Show. However, a new video featuring the Mercedes GLE63 AMG Coupe is already being teased. Compared to its standard variant, the Mercedes GLE63 AMG Coupe in the video shows sportier, more stylish and more aggressive features. The AMG version of the luxury crossover coupe appears to have redesigned front bumper, larger air intakes, plus a new and more defined wing. Three Plug-In Mercedes Hybrids will Hit U.S. by 2015

Before 2015 ends, Mercedes-Benz will be launching its first-ever hybrid plug-ins in the U.S. The earliest release of the plug-in Mercedes hybrids is probably in the spring of that year, according to Green Car Reports. [Video] Mercedes-Benz E-Class Premiere at 2013 NAIAS

If you missed the official unveiling of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class at the 2013 North American International Auto Show (a.k.a. the Detroit Auto Show), here’s a nice 3-minute feature from the folks at Mercedes-Benz TV.
