Is Mercedes F1 Losing Their Dominance?

The result of the Formula One qualifying in China may be the turning point in the sport. Ferrari locked the front row of the grid ahead of their rivals in the Mercedes F1 team. “This is the turning point,” said Sky F1‘s Damon Hill. Sebastian Vettel finished the qualifying race with a new lap record of 1 minute and 31.095 seconds. His teammate Kimi Raikkonen was just behind by 0.087 second. Hamilton dominates Chinese GP

Lewis Hamilton capped off a fairly dominant race weekend by winning the 2017 Chinese GP, ahead of the Ferrari of Sebastian Vettel, in a race that could have gone either way were it not for certain events. The win puts Hamilton with Vettel in a tie for the drivers championship points lead. Mercedes, meanwhile, takes the lead in the team standings over Ferrari. Red Bull’s Max Verstappen stole the show with an incredible drive, going from P16 all the way to seventh right in the first lap. 2014 Chinese Grand Prix – Hamilton takes pole; Rosberg in second row

It’s not the team’s best qualifying session so far in this young Formula One season, but Mercedes AMG Petronas will definitely take a pole position for Lewis Hamilton and a P4 start for Nico Rosberg, especially during a fairly wet and contested qualifying round at the 2014 Chinese Grand Prix.
