Mercedes-Benz Sales Go Down by 8.2% in September

The record-breaking Mercedes-Benz sales figures are over. In September 2018, the overall sales of the three-pointed star marque slumped by 8.2% compared to the same month of 2017. The January to September sales of the brand also saw a fall of 0.1% in comparison to the same period of last year. Mercedes still sold a total of 202,819 units last month though. Meanwhile, the January to September numbers was at 1,715,087 units. The smart brand of Daimler sold 10,850 in September but had a double-digit drop of 15% on a year-on-year comparison. Wald Releases Black Bison Package for the Mercedes-Benz GLC

The Japanese tuner Wald International just unveiled its latest body kit for the Mercedes-Benz GLC. The product is a part of the company’s Black Bison lineup. Previously, Wald released its Black Bison body kit for the Mercedes-AMG GT S featuring subtle enhancements in the visuals and aerodynamics of the sports car. No changes in the interior, as well as the engine configurations, were given to the high-performance vehicle though. Mercedes-Benz Breaks Bank in May

Mercedes-Benz continues its streak in breaking its sales record time after time. For the 63rd consecutive month, the premium car maker surpassed its year-on-year deliveries to customers. According to the media site of Daimler, Mercedes sold 198,187 vehicles around the globe in May. The numbers indicate a 2.3% increase compared to the same month of last year. Mercedes also broke the figures it posted from January to May of 2017. Overall, the luxury car brand sold 985,063 vehicles from the same period of this year. A photo allegedly showing the Mercedes-Benz A-Class sedan just got leaked online. The car is expected to make its debut next week at the 2018 Beijing Auto Show. According to CarNewsChina, the photo of the A-Class sedan was taken when workers forgot to cover a giant backdrop that they were hanging on the exhibition hall of the venue for the Auto Show.
