Smart #1 Brabus Electric Crossover Unveiled in China

The Smart brand just unveiled its new entry into the electric crossover market with the Smart #1. The electric vehicle made its debut at the recently-held Chengdu Motor Show in China. The Smart #1 has a planned rollout in 2023. It’s the result of a joint venture between Mercedes-Benz Group and Geely Holding. The new EV will come with a sportier version by Brabus, which will feature all things that the famous tuner is known for, including a power boost plus new visuals in and out. China-Exclusive Mercedes-Benz C-Class L Unveiled

After being held back by the pandemic last year, Mercedes-Benz finally went out with a bang once again at the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show. Alongside the all-new Mercedes-Benz EQB and the new Mercedes-Benz CLS four-door coupe, the German automaker also unveiled the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class L during the event. Mercedes-Benz And China Look To Deepen Relationship

Daimler and China will deepen that strange bond brewing between them as Mercedes-Benz looks to focus on electric and connected cars. The German automaker is now seriously in talks to strengthen partnerships with Chinese suppliers for its auto parts. Wilko Stark, member of the board for procurement at Mercedes-Benz, said that the company’s shift to electric and connected cars made Mercedes more dependent on battery cell chemistry and connected vehicles expertise, two facets that China has been dealing and managing in the past years. Mercedes-Benz Sales Go Down by 8.2% in September

The record-breaking Mercedes-Benz sales figures are over. In September 2018, the overall sales of the three-pointed star marque slumped by 8.2% compared to the same month of 2017. The January to September sales of the brand also saw a fall of 0.1% in comparison to the same period of last year. Mercedes still sold a total of 202,819 units last month though. Meanwhile, the January to September numbers was at 1,715,087 units. The smart brand of Daimler sold 10,850 in September but had a double-digit drop of 15% on a year-on-year comparison. Wald Releases Black Bison Package for the Mercedes-Benz GLC

The Japanese tuner Wald International just unveiled its latest body kit for the Mercedes-Benz GLC. The product is a part of the company’s Black Bison lineup. Previously, Wald released its Black Bison body kit for the Mercedes-AMG GT S featuring subtle enhancements in the visuals and aerodynamics of the sports car.
