As the excitement for the upcoming Mercedes-AMG C63 builds, a couple of renderings of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe emerged recently. This was revealed through a report from gtspirit.com. The renderings, which were done by a Germany-based magazine, looked like actual pictures of the upcoming coupe sitting beside a 2015 Ford Mustang. The rendering shows the C-Class with the same front of the existing C-Class sedan, which is not quite surprising for a number of industry watchers. A prototype of the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe (C205) was recently caught on a spy cam while it was cruising the streets of Stuttgart in Germany. The video above shows the car while it was being filmed by someone inside another Mercedes unit. It is really hard to make out the new features of the prototype C-Class Coupe just by looking at the video because the car has been heavily camouflaged. While the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe is scheduled to be officially unveiled by the luxury vehicle manufacturer in October, a number of spy shots of a prototype emerged recently, according to a report from worldcarfans.com. Although the new C-Class Coupe was heavily camouflaged, it still showed that the luxury vehicle manufacturer provided the redesigned model a curvier appearance. Its front fascia was also given a sporty look with its large intakes and a single bar grille. The new compact executive of Mercedes-Benz also features sweptback headlights, door-mounted windows, and a smoothly sloping roofline.   Mercedes-Benz is currently facing a high demand for its sport utility vehicles in the United States. The demand is such that Mercedes-Benz USA already warned that the supply for its SUV’s would be tight, similar to the CLA issue earlier. To address the impending shortage, Mercedes is expanding the operations of its Alabama plant to be able to accommodate the production of additional 60,000 vehicles annually. Presently, there are four types of vehicles being manufactured in the four million square-foot Tuscaloosa, Alabama plant of the three-pointed star brand namely the C-Class Coupe, M-Class, GL-Class SUV and the R-Class crossover.
