“Always restless”: the Mercedes-Benz GLA market launch campaign in Germany

With an emphasis on mobility, Mercedes-Benz is launching the new GLA with a campaign in Germany that’s under the banner “always restless”—something that highlights the boldness and flexibility of the compact SUV line. According to Mercedes-Benz Cars Head of Marketing Communications Dr Jens Thiemer, the new GLA is one “in which to take on all the hurdles of everyday life” and as such, the campaign will feature the vehicle in a variety of situations and settings, from city driving to travels on deserts and gravel. Mercedes-Benz Rolls Out “Dream Cars” Campaign

Mercedes-Benz has just launched a sales and marketing campaign that focuses on the automaker’s coupe, cabriolet, and roadster lines. The campaign, dubbed ‘Mercedes-Benz dream cars’, is underway in core markets and is intended to increase the sales of the featured models throughout the year. Previously, we showed you the “Untamed” TV spot for the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA. Well, it turns out that it’s just the tip of the iceberg, as the “Untamed” campaign launches across all media platforms, showing just how extensive it really is. Mercedes-Benz is really going all-out as far as marketing the new CLA goes. The automaker, via its MercedesBenzTV channel on YouTube, has outed a fresh commercial for the vehicle. We see the familiar action shots of a vehicle isolated across roads and different types of terrain, although here, we get to see a wolf running around as if it were an avatar for the car. The spot highlights some of the qualities of the CLA, such as its ‘dynamic coupe character’ and other key features and technologies of the vehicle. Mercedes-Benz Teases Kate Upton Super Bowl Spot

Mercedes-Benz USA, via its YouTube channel, teased a commercial that’s set to be fully shown during the broadcast of Super Bowl XLVII on Feb. 3. The spot stars the new Mercedes-Benz CLA alongside 2012 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue cover model Kate Upton. The teaser lasts over a minute and a half, so that should give us an indication that the actual spot could be much longer. In the preview, Upton is shown posing and blowing bubbles in a car wash, but it’s not exactly what you’d expect when you hear the keywords “Kate Upton” and “car wash” together in one sentence. Mercedes-Benz Uses Twitter to Crowdsource Outcome of TV Spots

In the UK, Mercedes-Benz relied on the social media and microblogging platform Twitter to determine the outcome of its latest TV spots for the new A-Class. The series of ads cover 3 TV spots that aired during The X Factor over the weekend, with the first ad airing during the first commercial break on the Saturday airing, and the second spot in the next break. The third spot will then air during the Sunday episode. Performance, Pulse, Parking—those are the three TV spots for the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class, each highlighting a different aspect of the vehicle. The “Performance” spot, easily our favorite here at BenzInsider, highlights the COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST feature of the vehicle. It stars Nico Rosberg of the Mercedes F1 team, as he takes the A-Class for a ride while dodging and avoiding obstacles thrown at him by a guy that resembles a crash test dummy.
