Fujian Benz Opens Product Dev Center in China

Fujian Benz Automotive Corporation, a joint venture between Daimler and a number of Chinese partners that focus on van production, recently opened up a brand-new product development center in Fuzhou, China. Mercedes-Benz Vans chief Volker Mornhinweg noted that the opening of the facility is a significant milestone in the division’s growth strategy, dubbed ‘Vans goes global’. It took two years to complete construction of the center. “We have been producing the Vito and the Viano in China since 2010, and we also started manufacturing a bus version of the Sprinter in the Fujian Benz Automotive Corporation joint venture in 2011,” said Mornhinweg. Here’s something to look for in this year’s Beijing Auto Show – the Mercedes-Benz Viano VISION DIAMOND. This luxurious version of the Viano will surely turn heads with its host of extravagant visual cues both inside and out. Chrome grille louvers, a two-tone paintjob and a blacked out radiator grille easily makes the VISION DIAMOND stand out, especially with a gold shimmering line running along the body to separate black and diamond white color tones. Hamman’s Version of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

Here’s a video of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMGin Dubai made by Hamman, which we can say looks fierce. Alloy rims with wheels finished in matte black and designed with cross-spokes are called the Design Edition Race “Anodized”. The rear rims are measured at 11 by 21 inches while the front axle is sized at 9 by 21 inches. These rims also look stylish with titanium bolts that are corrosion resistant. The red paintjob looks very cool, and with the generous helping of chrome in this car, this tune truly rocks!

Mercedes Reveals its New Van – Mercedes Citan

With a name derived from “city” and “titan”, you could expect this van to be the next big thing in city driving. The new van is said to have different versions, diesel, electric, and petrol. It will also be available in different lengths and weights and with a body ranging from crewbus to panelvan. Volker Mornhinweg, Head of Mercedes Vans said, “We will take advantage of the trend toward city vans.” The company also said that they want this van to be suited to the variety of commercial applications. Quality plus function is equal to Mercedes Citan.
