The latest model of the Cabriolet and E-Class Coupe of Mercedes-Benz offer a unique design, cost-effective engines and an all-new assistance system. The latest four-cylinder BlueDIrect engine of the E-Class Coupe also gives it an ecologically-friendly and efficient design due to its direct injection system. Mercedes Reveals 2014 E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet

After revealing the freshened up E-Class sedan and wagon, Mercedes has removed the wraps off the coupe and cabriolet versions. Although the public will see these models at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show, actual showroom models will be available only after a few more months. Styling cues taken from the sedan are aplenty, although observers will note that the fat rear haunches are reminiscent of the older E-Class. The front end, however, is radically fresh, almost looking like a concept car instead of one destined for the showroom. MBUSA Issues Recall For A Few E350 And E550 Coupes

In case you’re not yet aware, Mercedes-Benz USA has issued a recall for some 2012 E350 and E550 Coupes. Specifically, for those cars manufactured between April 2, 2012 and June 29, 2012. The cause for the recall is the discovery of an improper stitching procedure affecting the right window curtain airbag. On affected vehicles, there is the possibility that the window curtain air bag may not work as designed. The improper stitching will not actually affect the deployment of the airbag. Rather, the stitching that was not done to spec may cause the deployed airbag to deflate more quickly, thus reducing the protection that the airbag would actually provide. This… Continue Reading »

Piecha Design Tunes the Mercedes-Benz E-Class

The German aftermarket specialist Piecha Design is celebrating its 30th year in the industry. In line with that, they chose the luxury car Mercedes-Benz E-Class as their new tuning project. The two kinds of E-Class, the Coupe and Cabriolet now has 8.5×19 inch rims in front and 9.5x 19 inch at the back. The tires wrapping the rim are 225/35 front and 255/30 on the rear. Lowering is at 30mm, but you can opt for a size 24 to 400mm per axle too. The body kit on the other hand, is inspired by AMG styling. 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe spotted – arriving at dealers?

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure to see the new 2010 E-Class Coupe on the road while driving around town (Bellevue, WA). I spotted the E350 a couple hundred feet away, mostly because of the very very bright LED taillights. I had only a few moments to get my phone out and snap a pic before he drove off. Does this sighting mean we are close to a showroom debut, well according to some, the first E-Class editions for sale are likely to arrive by the end of the month or early July, so we can safely assume the launch is imminent.
