MR Car Design Contributes Its Vision For The SL65 AMG

MR Car Design of Germany has turned its design expertise to tuning the pre-facelift Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG. In its latest program for this hardtop roadster, MR Design’s exterior kit includes a lightweight carbon fiber hood sourced from Kicherer and the rear diffuser section derived from the 2009 SL 65 AMG. As with most wheel combinations nowadays, shiny 20-inch wheels from Carlsson make up the major features of the exterior kit. Detail features like smoked turn signals and custom-made Black Series gauge dials for the interior make up the styling kit. MKB Upgrades The SL To Supercar Levels

MKB, a tuner of Mercedes-Benz automobiles, has introduced the P1000 model, an SL with 1015 horsepower on tap. With the increase in power comes a corresponding increase in torque, with the maximum delivery situated between 3300 and 6000 rpm. In repeated tests to verify the car’s performance, a very quick 3.6 seconds was recorded for the 0-100 km sprint. And the stunning acceleration doesn’t stop there. Carlsson Super-GT C25 to Appear at Essen Motor Show

The Mercedes-Benz SL-based Super-GT C25 from German tuner Carlsson is set to wow onlookers once more as it takes the stage at the upcoming Essen Motor Show, which opens this 27th of November and lasts through December 5th. Carlsson is also set to showcase a C63 AMG-based vehicle called the CK63 RS, which is rated at a relatively modest 600 horsepower. Misha designs wide body kit for the SL

SL owners owners and fans out there are in for a real treat. Mercedes-Benz tuner MISHA has just released images of their latest wide body package that’s purposely built for the SL. The new body kit comprises of a redesigned front bumper with matching carbon fiber lip, while bigger air vents allow the Mercedes-Benz SL to draw more air to help cool the engine. Wider fenders are a tad bit alike with the SL Black Series, although these are more effective at helping draw air from the tire wells.
