The new Mercedes-Benz-powered models are ready for retail by autumn this year, and they are touted to have superb fuel efficiency along with unparalleled aerodynamic qualities. The New Setra Delivered in the US

The first  US ComfortClass S 407 CC was delivered from the Stuttgart/Ulm Plant to the United States. Dattco and Martz Group takes ownership of the nine coaches that meets the American Standard for safety, which is not surprising, as Mercedes / Daimler makes sure that all safety requirements are being met before delivering the vehicles to its new owner. First Setra with Active Brake Assist delivered

Setra Buses and Coaches has delivered its first touring coach with Active Brake Assist (ABA). Active Brake Assist (ABA) reacts to slower-moving vehicles in front by issuing a series of progressive warnings before initiating emergency braking if there is a risk of a collision. ABA is only effective when used alongside AICC (Autonomous Intelligent Cruise Control), whose sensors are used to detect vehicles in front of the bus. The system therefore actively helps to prevent head-to-tail collisions, meaning that it can save lives.
