As part of the strengthening of Daimler’s international R&D network, the German company has just opened the new Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America (MBRDNA) HQ and Mercedes-Benz Silicon Valley R&D Center in Sunnyvale, California. Mercedes-Benz R&D to Lease New Building in Sunnyvale

According to reports, the research and development arm of Mercedes-Benz is set to lease a new building in Sunnyvale, a city that’s part of Silicon Valley in the United States. This move is part of an uptick in automotive industry research activity in the area. A Daimler subsidiary research company is the one leasing the three-story building, which is still under construction and owned by property holder Peery Arrillaga. 250 engineers needed for Bangalore R&D center

Looking for work? Then maybe you’re interested in knowing about Daimler Group’s plans to hire around 250 engineers for their research and development center in Bangalore. The move is aimed to improve the Mercedes-Benz global facility to support their global development center back in their home country Germany. Mercedes-Benz India General Manager Prakash Vermali says that by the end of 2010, the R&D center should house around 650 engineers total during a SIAM summit held in New Delhi.
