RENNtech recently did its magic on the 2015 Mercedes A45 AMG, which the aftermarket firm called the RENNtech 295 Edition. The tuner gave the engine of the compact car a boost plus some cosmetic enhancements for added appeal. Straight from the Mercedes-AMG factory, the A45 AMG has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine. This is considered to be the most powerful series production four-cylinder engine in the world, according to Mercedes. The power unit provides the car 360 hp and 450 Nm of torque distributed through a seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission gearbox. Renntech recently fitted one of their custom Mercedes-AMG GT S with their signature sport system. The result was a sound like it is the fourth of July, if you found yourself beside the car while it is revving its engine. Not so long ago Renntech tinkered with the 4.0-liter biturbo AMG V8 engine of the Mercedes-AMG GT S to boost its output. From the 503 hp and 650 Nm torque of the car, the famous aftermarket tuner was able to bring its output to 591 hp and 693 Nm torque. A new power package for the Mercedes-AMG GT is currently being developed by the RENNtech, as shown on a report from motorward.com. The results of the software upgrade provided by RENNtech for the AMG GT in the initial stage of the modification were rather impressive. While the power package was developed in the Florida branch of the tuning company, the software upgrade was developed in Germany at the Autobahn and Nurburgring. Renntech just got its hands on one of the first few Mercedes-AMG GT S released in the German market. Of course, being the awesome tuning company that they are, they immediately went on to work with it. According to a report from Autoevolution, the specialists within the company have already started their Stage 1 and Stage 2 tuning kits for the amazing car. The source said by the time the people in Renntech are done with the Stage 1 ECU remapping of the car, its output should be around 600 PS. Known tuning companies collaborated in Miami on a new project involving a Mercedes-Benz S550. The car came with a new wrap, wheels, and an engine boost. The highlight of the group’s work with the Mercedes S550 was its wrap, which featured an artistic blend of colors. The colors used for the wrap were a combination of red, yellow, and green.
