When news about the development of the Mercedes pickup broke out, the guys at TopSpeed immediately went to work in order to come up with a rendering of what the truck might possibly look like. The image above just shows their amazing concept of the vehicle. Official: Mercedes-Benz Pickup in the Works

Mercedes-Benz recently revealed its plan to develop a luxury pickup truck. The project was unveiled by Voker Mornhinweg in Germany through a life-size clay model, according to Wall Street Journal. Based on the report, the Mercedes-Benz pickup will have an estimated carrying capacity of 2,200 pounds. The power of the vehicle will be provided by a four- or six-cylinder engine. Looking at the picture, the design appeared to have some of the styling elements of the GLA-Class and the brand’s vans. smart for-us Pickup Concept Hits Detroit

Shown live at the Detroit Auto Show was smart’s For-Us concept vehicle. The pickup truck concept is a refreshing departure from the retrimmed and basically repainted smart vehicles that we are growing tired of seeing. But pickup is a generous description for this city vehicle, as it is not much larger than the smart cars we are used to seeing.
