Megaphone Exhaust of Mercedes Did Not Work

Formula One fans were excited after Mercedes announced it may have the solution that will address the lack of noise of its race cars, especially when it tweeted that it is already for testing. The formula was in the form of a megaphone exhaust that will apparently amplify the tailpipe noise of the racing vehicles. However, just a few minutes ago, Nico Rosberg revealed that the trumpet-like exhaust just did not work. The German was the one who drove the car carrying the megaphone exhaust concept of Mercedes. According to Rosberg in his interview with BBC, the add-on failed to produce the desired results, so they will have to explore other alternatives…. Continue Reading »

A majority of Formula One analysts agreed that Lewis Hamilton is looking at his best this season. A lot of them even predicted that the young Briton might recapture the title this 2014. Nico Rosberg has also been impressive since the day one of the races by grabbing the first place in Australia and by maintaining a place next to his teammate in the succeeding events. Despite the prediction of critics, including BBC, that the next race may be won… Continue Reading »

You might be fond of taking selfies yourself. We bet, however, that you likely won’t be able to do it while driving a 1954 Mercedes W196 [and you really shouldn't, no matter what vehicle you're driving/riding. It's dangerous!] That’s exactly what Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 driver Nico Rosberg did on Juan Manuel Fangio’s famed car. From the first rumbles of the engine to the end of his run, it is indeed a unique take on the selfie. Kids, don’t do this… Continue Reading »
