Looks like 2016 is indeed more exciting for Formula One. Nico Rosberg won a thrilling season-opener for Mercedes, with teammate Lewis Hamilton taking second after overcoming a bad start from pole position. “It’s early days but a perfect start,” said Rosberg, who now has won four races in a row dating back to last season. “We need to keep our eyes on the red guys and keep working.” Hamilton had to work his way back up from P7, after being practically untouchable during the practices and in qualifying. Mercedes swaps crew personnel for Rosberg and Hamilton

In a move that is expected to help the team, Mercedes has swapped around several members of its drivers’ crew personnel. There are several differences between the Silver Arrow cars this season. The decision was made by the team to swap number one mechanics for 2016. New personnel turnover also paved the way for other swaps. There are no changes to the engineering personnel, however. According to Daimler, the new Mercedes F1 W07 Hybrid left the garage for the testing a 10:15 AM.
