Mercedes-Benz Vans has sent four teams to the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles 2016 in Morocco, the world’s only off-road event exclusive to women. A total of 160 teams have entered for this year’s rally, which will last 10 days in Southern Morocco’s deserts. Fujian Benz Opens Product Dev Center in China

Fujian Benz Automotive Corporation, a joint venture between Daimler and a number of Chinese partners that focus on van production, recently opened up a brand-new product development center in Fuzhou, China. Mercedes-Benz Vans chief Volker Mornhinweg noted that the opening of the facility is a significant milestone in the division’s growth strategy, dubbed ‘Vans goes global’.
