620 Mercedes-Benz Vans Ordered by Avis Budget Group

Fujian Benz Opens Product Dev Center in China

Fujian Benz Automotive Corporation, a joint venture between Daimler and a number of Chinese partners that focus on van production, recently opened up a brand-new product development center in Fuzhou, China. Mercedes-Benz Vans chief Volker Mornhinweg noted that the opening of the facility is a significant milestone in the division’s growth strategy, dubbed ‘Vans goes global’. According to the news, German carmakers Mercedes-Benz has released information that they would present a limited version of the only ANCAP tested 5-Star van of Australia, the 2010 Mercedes-Benz Vito. Mercedes-Benz Australia stated that they would only release a total of 60 Limited Edition Vitos that boasts of an extra $2,500 worth of equipment.
