Here’s the 2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600 Video Brochure

“It is as much as an expression of art as a product of scientific endeavor.” This is how Mercedes-Benz USA described the 2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600, which basically summed up the ultra-luxurious features of the high-end car. A few weeks ago, the USA-arm of the three-pointed star marque released the video brochure of the Mercedes-Maybach S600 through its YouTube channel. Of course, the presentation shows the key selling points of the extra-opulent car starting with its exterior engineering, magnified by its fine lines and longer body than the standard version of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Then it goes into the spacious interior of the auto, which is highlighted by its high-quality hand-stitched nappa leather, lambswool carpets, executive reclining… Continue Reading »

It’s still a bit of time before Mercedes-Benz USA actually packs its bags from its current Montvale, NJ headquarters on to the greener pastures of Atlanta, but there’s already one harsh reality that the automaker has to face: the talent that will be lost because of the move. MB USA CEO Steve Cannon said that offers had already been made to Montvale personnel and that the company would be waiting for responses on who will be amicable to a relocation. It was not said how many of the 1,053 employees had been given offers, but Mr. Cannon did say that he expects only 40 percent of the employees would be moving to the… Continue Reading »

NJ to Mercedes-Benz: Please Stay

It’s easy to see how having the headquarters of one of the world’s top luxury car manufacturers would be beneficial to any location, which is why it’s not all that surprising to hear that New Jersey officials are campaigning to keep Mercedes-Benz within the state borders. For one thing, the German automaker’s US headquarters – located at 3 Mercedes Drive in Montvale, NJ – is responsible for providing around 1,000 jobs for residents in the area. That’s not something you can just give up. While there’s been no word of any possible move yet, and Mercedes-Benz officials have declined to comment on the matter,  state officials like Assemblywoman Holly Schepisi are keen on Mercedes-Benz… Continue Reading »
