M-Class and SLS AMG Roadsters Got Thumbs Up from an Auto Mag

Readers of the automobile magazine “Auto Motor und Sport” once again, hailed Mercedes-Benz cars as the best cars in their categories. The Mercedes M-Class is the best car in the SUV category while the SLS AMG is the best convertible car. The SLS also got the “Best Car of the Year” for the third year. According to the magazine, the M-Class was honored for its striking design and high-quality interior, as well as energy efficiency and for being environment friendly. Meanwhile, the SLS AMG was hailed due to its intelligent construction and other safety factors.

The First All-Electric AMG : SLS AMG E-Cell

The in-house tuning division of Mercedes-Benz is now “cooking up” a new car. Well, actually just an improvement of what’s already in their line up, only now it is going to be all-electric. The SLS AMG E-Cell will be the first of its kind in AMG’s range of vehicles. By the middle of next year, people can start ordering it, late next year to early 2013 test drives and deliveries are scheduled. The Latest Spyshots of the New Generation Mercedes SL, Less Camo

The next generation of the Mercedes-Benz SL was spotted in less camouflage. It showed off its front flat nose that looks like the SLS. The LED tail lights and the dual-exhaust system is also very visible. The car is said to be having a 3.5 liter V6 that will give it a power of 302HP and 368 Nm of torque. Four Mercedes-Benz Vehicles Hailed as the Most Beautiful Cars of 2011

After 22,916 readers voted in the 2011 Autonis design award, four Mercedes-Benz vehicles got an award, which means that these cars are visually appealing. Mercedes-Benz C-Class won the medium-size category, getting more than 2/3 of votes. In the luxury category, the CLS four-door coupe placed first, surely because of its excellent design and sportiness.
