Daimler Showcases the 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe at the NAIAS

Mercedes-Benz started 2017 by showcasing its new products and services at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). One of the cars highlighted in the event was the 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe alongside the facelifted Mercedes-Benz GLA. As reported earlier, Mercedes introduced four models of the E-Class Coupe, namely the E200 Coupe, E220 Coupe, E300 Coupe and the E400 4MATIC Coupe. The one shown in Detroit was the Mercedes-Benz E400 4MATIC Coupe that can be seen in the pictures here which were featured in Automotive News. Mercedes-Benz Cars Awarded at the Plus X Awards

In Cologne, five awards were given for Mercedes-Benz. The A-Class was given the “Innovation, High Quality, Design and Ease of Use” award and the best compact car award. On the other hand, The Mercedes C300 BlueTEC HYBRID was labeled as the “Best Product of 2012” and the “Innovation and Environment” award. The brand as a whole got the Plus X Award for being a sustainable car manufacturer in the world. Mercedes Launches E300 BlueTEC HYBRID

In Stuttgart, Mercedes recently announced its new E300 BlueTEC HYBRID. This diesel hybrid boasts of a fuel consumption of only 4.2 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers. Efficiency without compromise, such is Mercedes’ mantra for its automobiles, and the E300 BlueTEC HYBRID is no exception. In the E 300 BlueTEC HYBRID, Mercedes-Benz has combined the 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine developing 204 hp with a powerful hybrid module.
