The Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG is a power car that has all the things needed by a tuner. Great looks, mighty engine and comfortable interiors make the newly released model a tuning favorite. ADV.1 Wheels showed the latest aftermarket changes to the CLS63 AMG. The new rims, the ADV5.21 SL, are lovely looking, with its curved lines matching the style of the CLS that also has five double-spoke designs. The Mercedes CLS63 AMG is already a beauty by itself. However, tuner Carlsson pushed it beyond in its kit called the CK 63 RS. The performance changes made by the tuner were actually launched in IAA in Frankfurt. The 649HP and 900Nm torque upgrade premiered then, however, they are now altered its interior, by making it red which makes a great impact to how it looks because of the striking contrast to its white exterior paint. The kit is available in other colors, of course, depending on the customer’s taste. So if you want orange or yellow green it might be doable.

We told you earlier, didn’t we? The highlight of this year’s LA Auto Show is no other than the 2012 CLS63 AMG—a sedan that has a twin-turbo V8 under the hood that demands pure respect and admiration. The M157 engine, AMG’s brand new brainchild, is a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 can churn out up to 518 horsepower plus 516 lb-ft torque. That’s the base form, mind you. Put in AMG’s Performance Package and you get 14.5 to 18.8 psi boost, upping the power to 550 horses and 590 lb-ft torque. Hopefully, this is nothing like the Porsche Shooting Brake hoax that had a lot of people fooled from the very start. Mercedes-Benz has just official word of plans to build the CLS Shooting Brake by 2012. This promising model should go into production along with the rest of the company’s models in their plant in Sindelfingen.
