One of them is getting to drive the 2014 CLA before anyone else does. Just check out the video above. Lewis Hamilton was all praises about the new car because of the driving quality it provides. He said he was quite comfortable driving it. He emphasized the amazing performance of its brakes as well. Hamilton may not be new with Mercedes-Benz, since the car he had at McLaren was equipped with a Mercedes-Benz engine, but he was surely impressed with the CLA.

The Kecskemét plant of Mercedes-Benz rolled out the first Mercedes-Benz CLA recently around ten months after the plant was opened. The occasion saw the prime minister of Hungary, Victor Orbán, in attendance along with the Mercedes-Benz Cars head and Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler, Dr. Dieter Zetsche. They were welcomed by the manager of the Kecskemét plant, Frank Klein. Dr. Dieter Zetsche revealed that the Mercedes-Benz CLA is based on a Concept Style Coupe, which was introduced last year. Based on a report by The Hindu Business Line, Mercedes-Benz India will be entering the premium segment with the A-Class this coming summer. Eberhard Kern, Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India, said that although it would be the first time for the A-Class to hit the Indian market, it would be the refreshed version of the model. The Baby-CLS or BLS/CLC/CLA as some are calling it, was just a rumor back a few months ago when we first reported about it, but as we can see in these exclusive spy-shots, it seems that Mercedes-Benz is going ahead with it’s plan to create a smaller version of legendary CLS.
