All-New Mercedes-Benz CLE Eyed for 2023 Debut

Despite Mercedes-Benz USA streamlining its models wherein the C-Class is one of its casualties, it looks like the home court of the company is developing an off-shoot version of the range called the Mercedes-Benz CLE. According to the Italy-based Autoblog.it, the CLE will be positioned between the C-Class and the E-Class cars. Looking at the nomenclature system used by Mercedes, the CL prefix refers to coupe-inspired sedan models like the CLA and CLS. Similar to the said models, expect an arching roofline for the upcoming CLE class. The report claimed that the CLE will include coupe, convertible, and wagon versions. To avoid bloating the existing Mercedes lineup, the new models… Continue Reading »

2021 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate Spied for the First Time

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is already riding off into the sunset in the United States of America as its maker announced that it will ax the sedan from its dealerships so that it can focus on the production sport utility vehicles and crossovers in the country. In Europe though, the three-pointed star marque will continue to offer the series. Recently, the 2021 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate was spied for the first time while it was undergoing testing on a public road. The prototype is heavily disguised in zebra camouflage but its stance and shape are definitely that of the current C-Class Estate. Even the proportions are pretty much the same, especially the… Continue Reading »

Daimler Cuts the Mercedes-Benz C-Class from Production Line in the US

Mercedes-Benz continues to streamline its products and services as it tries to cope up with lower sales brought about by the Coronavirus. After canceling its car subscription service, the three-pointed star marque is also axing the production of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class in the U.S. According to Reuters, the luxury carmaker is pulling out the C-Class sedan from its Tuscaloosa, Alabama plant. Next-Generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class Caught in a Spy Video

Not so long ago, we have seen what appears to be a prototype of the next-generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class in action. Recently, the car was caught in a spy video again while it was undergoing testing in Stuttgart, Germany. Since the upcoming C-Class is still in its early stages of development, the vehicle from walkoART’s video is heavily wrapped in a zebra camouflage. It is devoid of a radiator grille, and its exposed portions like the roof plus the partially covered lights do not really reveal anything significant. False panels on the car’s exterior also make it hard for us to tell what it has in store for customers. The only… Continue Reading »

Hofele Puts the Panamericana Grille in Standard Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Unless you got yourself at least a Mercedes-AMG C63, you won’t be able to enjoy the Panamericana grille for the C-Class. However, owners of the standard Mercedes-Benz C-Class can now get to enjoy the sporty vertical slats design for their cars’ fascia because Hofele-Design just released their new Pan-Amerikana styling package for it. The Pan-Amerikana program of Hofele is inspired by the Panamericana race in Mexico which was won by a Mercedes-Benz 300SL in 1952. The grille styling of the iconic car is carried to the standard C-Class, similar to the treatment of the range-topping AMG cars. The aim of Daimler’s contractual partner is to provide the lower trim C-Class… Continue Reading »

Wald International Takes the Mercedes C-Class to the Dark Side

Wald International just revealed its new package for the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The new program of the Japanese tuner gives the car a dark and menacing aura. As we have seen in Wald’s previous Black Bison projects involving vehicles such as the Mercedes-AMG GT S and the Mercedes-AMG GLC, their cosmetic enhancements do not offer wild aero kits. However, the subtle changes are enough to transform the character of the Mercedes C-Class into something else. The body kit of Wald replaces the chrome accents of the front grille, bumper linings, front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser and wheels with blacked out elements. Meanwhile, the exhaust tips still come with the specialist’s custom… Continue Reading »

Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe Vs Alfa Romeo Giulia QV in a Drag Race

Which one wins if you pit the Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe against the Alfa Romeo Giulia QV in a drag race? The guys at Motor1 Turkey recently took both high-performance cars on the race track to find out the answer to this question. The cars featured in the video include a gray AMG C63 S Coupe and a sky blue Giulia QV. The cars were fitted with Pirelli P Zero tires but the Mercedes had wider tires, measuring 0.4-inches more than the Alfa Romeo car. On the other hand, the Giulia QV benefits from carbon-ceramic brakes that are light and offer better performance during braking. Beneath the hood of the AMG C63 S… Continue Reading »
