Daimler recently unveiled the Mercedes-Benz Future Bus. The passenger vehicle is equipped with an advanced technology called the CityPilot, which features autonomous driving capabilities. The new Mercedes bus aims to address congestion, traffic and environmental problems in big cities. Mercedes-Benz Citaro Euro VI Takes “Bus of the Year 2013” Award

Thanks to its innovative approach that focuses on safety, efficiency, and eco-friendliness, the new Mercedes-Benz Citaro (Euro VI engine variant) was awarded as the Bus of the Year 2013 by an international jury. The bus is the first production model that already incorporates the tech needed to meet Euro VI emissions standards. Railway Operator in a French State Chose Setra

The railway company SNCF launched a new business model by using touring coaches that are comfortable. Twenty six new vehicles of the ComfortClass 400 S 416 GT-HD model will link Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam and London and all these 26 are Setra buses. “The Setra coaches will allow us to offer our customers an extremely pleasant way of travelling, with safety as our top priority, ” said Barbara Dalibard, member of the SNCF Executive Board. Citaro bus line now up for a revamped variant

With the number of units delivered to date going past the 30,000 mark, Mercedes-Benz is finally coming up with an update and redesign of its ultra-successful Citaro bus line. Mercedes do Brazil Reaches Its Milestone of 400,000 Buses Sold

Mercedes-Benz do Brasil has publicized that it has achieved a record of selling 400,000 buses in their country since the company started manufacturing in its Sao Bernardo do Campo plant in 1956. For many years, the company has been the leader with regards to internal sales, last September 2010, the company recorded a 53% market share. This important milestone was brought about by the O 500 RSD chassis. This vehicle, transported to Vicao Cometa, is one of the 123 chassis O 500 units bought by a client in 2010.
