Mercedes-Benz Cars Most Expensive to Insure, Says Study

A recent study on the current vehicle insurance costs has Mercedes-Benz cars topping the charts of the most expensive coverage, with the top 8 being populated by the German automaker’s offerings. The list is led by the 12-cylinder model of the CL 600, which would set owners back by around $3,357 annually. Of course, this is understandable given the luxury brand’s product range. Eighty percent of the top 20 are occupied by Mercedes-Benz and Porsche cars. The survey was conducted by Insure.com through polls in  different states, with 10 zip codes being surveyed in each state.
