The Game of the Future smart eball, Got an Award from ADC

smart won this year’s Interactive/Physical Innovations at the International Art Director’s Club awards. In this game however, instead of using a joystick to drive the ball back and forth on the court, you use two smart electric drives. Dr. Annette Winkler, Head of smart said, “We wanted participants to experience the incredible driving fun of the electric smart and smart eball achieved that perfectly.” She added, “The aim of the game was understood immediately and anyone can just… Continue Reading »

The reception to the video hasn’t been very warm, with just over 32,000 views as of the time this article was written. Some commenters even pointed out that the video could have been much, much better if better angles or better editing could have been used. Mercedes Teases New, Fresher Interior

Brought to our attention by regular reader Jay, here’s a teaser video that can be found in Mercedes-Benz’s official YouTube channel on design fundamentals. Forget brand names, designer Luke Leitch says. He goes on to describe what he feels are what you should look for in a design. Curiously, the video doesn’t show a car or a detail but a seat, done with highlights of lime green. Definitely not a color normally associated with factory cars from the German automaker.
