Running a quarter mile in just 11 seconds is not an impossible feat for the Mercedes C63 AMG. However, this video is interesting because of who’s driving the car. A 60-year old woman who adores drag racing is behind the wheels of the super car. You read that right, 60-year old and drag racing. Doesn’t looks like these phrases could be together eh? But yes, in this clip, you can definitely watch this woman who even shared what’s in her Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG before she joined her husband, who I suppose is as old as she (or close?), on the track. The hubby drives a Dodge Viper.

Having been privileged to ride shotgun in a Mercedes-Benz quite recently, I was awed by the extreme comfort I felt despite my driver gunning it in first gear. The auto shifted into second gear so seamlessly that only veteran manual drivers would be able to tell that an upshift actually occurred. I’m definitely a fan of German engineering, especially with the brand. However, most Mercedes-Benz drivers only get to see the light side of the tri-pointed star. For the adventurous few, there is the dark side which can only be uncovered by pushing the envelope. And the C63 AMG Black Series makes pushing the envelope so much easier. The video… Continue Reading »
In a video made by Chris Harris of Autoblog, he showed the C63 AMG Black Series being lined up against the BMW M3 GTS and Porsche 911 GT3 RS, and although it didn’t win against the Porsche, the previous clip did show that the C63 is one mean machine. To further prove its power, Mercedes-Benz released a new video where the vicious monster was strolling for a short time before it went on track and roared its V8 6.2L engine. Aside from its engine that gives out 510HP, the car is also known to have a great exterior that is emphasized by the generous LED treatment it has. Inside, you… Continue Reading »
Mercedes-Benz and its Team, AMG Petronas is serious in bringing the F1 world to the public, and every time they do that, they involve their world famous drivers. In this video for example, Nico Rosberg is showing how they drive inside the F1 Car. After you’ve watched the video, I bet you will learn that it is indeed a skill you need to learn for years before you can even maneuver and F1 car. Even seating inside is difficult enough; I mean it’s like you’re being operated on in a hospital! How much more difficult it is to move and avoid the other fast cars racing on your side?
Most tuners from all over the world found their affections set of the new Mercedes SLS AMG. It is not surprising that the fast car got a new “fan”, HMS Tuning, which is proven by their newly released project. HMS updated the engine of the V8 from 571HP to 720HP and its toque from 649Nm originally, to 832 Nm. The company used their HMS Tuning Xtra Power Supercharger which made it more powerful. In addition, they put an uprated oil pump, an intake manifold, sports air filter, additional ECU that creates more boost, 200 CPI Sports Cats and valve control and a 4-1 manifold exhaust system. Surely, words cannot justify… Continue Reading »
smart won this year’s Interactive/Physical Innovations at the International Art Director’s Club awards. This is for the interactive game called eball which shows off the dynaminism of the e-driven smart car. The eball game works like the ping pong game that we play years ago. In this game however, instead of using a joystick to drive the ball back and forth on the court, you use two smart electric drives. Dr. Annette Winkler, Head of smart said, “We wanted participants to experience the incredible driving fun of the electric smart and smart eball achieved that perfectly.” She added, “The aim of the game was understood immediately and anyone can just… Continue Reading »
Chris Harris of Autoblog made a video of three of the most dashing cars in the market today. How often do you find German mean machines together in one clip? Rare, I bet. In one of those rare occasions, the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series is featured with he BMW M3 GTS and Porsche GT3 RS 4.0. For two days, the three super cars were pitted, analyzed and examined thoroughly. On the first day, the features of the cars were highlight while on the second day, the cars were raced on the track. Want to know who won? Errr… watch the video! Source: Autoblog
