Mercedes-Benz E-Class series has the highest value retention

Whether as a Saloon, Coupe or Estate variant, the new Mercedes E-Class has the highest value retention of any luxury segment model series in Germany. In three years time these models will command the highest resale values in their segment, according to a prognosis by the independent market research institute Bà¤hr & Fess Forecast. This one again confirms the high value retention of Mercedes-Benz vehicles. According to calculations by the Saarbrücken-based specialists, the E 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Saloon will still realize up to 62.5 percent of its current new value in three years time. 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe spotted – arriving at dealers?

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure to see the new 2010 E-Class Coupe on the road while driving around town (Bellevue, WA). I spotted the E350 a couple hundred feet away, mostly because of the very very bright LED taillights. I had only a few moments to get my phone out and snap a pic before he drove off. Does this sighting mean we are close to a showroom debut, well according to some, the first E-Class editions for sale are likely to arrive by the end of the month or early July, so we can safely assume the launch is imminent. You might remember our story last month about the E-Class Coupe and its appearance at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Well Mercedes has used that occasion and 30 beautiful women to create an interact webspecial that let’s you see the Coupe from the models point of view. Mercedes-Benz to produce ‘Concept Fascination’ vehicle

You might remember when we first wrote about the E-Class Concept Fascination back in October of 2008, when it was shown off at the 2008 Paris Auto Show. Well according to Auto Express and their sources, Mercedes is planning a production version of the Concept Fascination. The shooting brake, as the body style is known, will be available at showrooms in 2011. It will join the rest of the E-Class family, which will be made up of the saloon, coupe, convertible, and estate. Brabus tunes the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe

The new Mercedes E-Class Coupe just went on sale and Brabus already presents an extensive tuning program for the new two-door. The Brabus 6.1 displacement engine is the highlight of the tuned Coupe. It has a rated power output of 462 hp (456 bhp) / 340 kW and propels the E 500 (US: E550) to an impressive top speed of 315 km/h (196 mph), achieving 0 – 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.7 seconds. New E-Class voted “best-looking car in the world” by Autobild readers

Some 100,000 readers of motoring magazine AUTO BILD have voted the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class the best-looking car in the world.
