What happens if you put in a space saver tire (125) in a power car like the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG? With all the might that the car has, surely you would think that a “thin” tire will make it slip. Well, not with the C63 AMG. In this video, discover why Chris Harris said, “The greatest driving machine on the planet. C63 AMG Black Series Tackles Laguna Seca

It seems that Mercedes is bent on dethroning the BMW M3 as the car of choice for sporty coupes. This video follows the  announcement of the C63 AMG Black Series’ outstanding time at the Nurburgring, where it bested the current M3 GTS’s time by 2 seconds. In that hot lap at the Ring, the C63 Black Series was also only short of the Porsche 911 Carrera S’ time by 2 seconds.  With its 517 horsepower 6.2 liter V8, this Black Series coupe has got the motivation and 7-speed dual-clutch transmission it needs to run with the best. C63 AMG Black Series Posts Blistering Nurburgring Time

    Call it marketing or just plain pride in achieving it, but Mercedes-Benz has announced that its C63 AMG Black Series has put in a time at the Nurburgring that has made sports car aficionados around the world sit up and take notice. We know that the Black Series cars represent hardcore performance from the AMG division of the German carmaker. Just how hardcore is amply illustrated by the fact the there is a difference of about 15 seconds in the Ring time between the C63 AMG and the C63 AMG Black Series. Drool-Worthy C63 AMG Black Series Video

We recently reported that Australians have bought out the entire allocation for that continent’s C63 AMG Black Series within weeks of its announcement. And to show the rest of the world what a desirable animal it is, here’s  a video of it to further whet our appetites. To recall, the C63 Black Series has been blessed by AMG with a 6.3-litre V8 developing 517 horsepower. 457 lb.ft. of tire melting torque accompanies that output, with the company’s AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed  rounding out the powertrain. 19-inch wheels and a sports exhaust round out the aggressive-looking and -sounding package. Australians Buy Out C63 AMG Black Series

On the heels of the news that Mercedes beat BMW in North American sales last month comes another uplifting report, this time from the land down under. There, the entire allocation for the C63 AMG Black Series has been snapped up. Announced only in the first week of November and for delivery in April 2012, the overwhelming response has caught the local managers there by surprise. The B-Class, M-Class and C-Class Coupe Passed the NCAP Crash Test

Mercedes-Benz’ new car models, the B-, M- and C-Class Coupe were awarded the best in the crash test based on the European New Car Assessment Program (NCAP). Both the B- and the M- Class are the best in their categories while the C-Class Coupe got the prime rating of five stars for outstanding occupant protection. Other Mercedes’ innovations were also given awards. The PRE-SAFE system, COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST and ATTENTION ASSIST were recognized because of their benefits and the safety it can bring to riders or owners. “Less Doors” Commercial, is it Intentional?

There has been some grammar corrections on the Internet brought about by a Mercedes-Benz commercial. At 24 seconds, the man would say that the vehicles has “less doors”, even though, grammatically it should be “fewer doors.” The netizens are actually thinking about whether this is intentional or not, but thinking how this is being talked about, it certainly is intentional and not something that Mercedes-Benz or the ad agency just messed up on.
