2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe “production-ready” prototype

Spy shots of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe shows that this prototype isn’t just shorter C-Class, but has some fresh lines that give the coupe a very sporty look. It features the quad-foglamp design on the slightly refreshed front fascia, now becoming common to the M-Benz range of cars and the rear with LED running lamps and taillights. Reports say that the power plant will still be the same as that of the 2010 model, the 3.0-liter 228HP and 3.5-liter 268HP V6 engines. [Video] 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK promo video leaked

Mercedes-Benz is know for releasing their very own spy-shots to stir up some publicity, but this is certainly something that didn’t happen intentionally – a leaked promo clip of the all-new SLK. A French promotional clip was somehow leaked on the interweb, giving us all a 10 minute long preview of all the cool and innovative features that will be available with the 2012 SLK. F1: Schumacher cautious for 2011 but Expects Wins

Michael Schumacher’s return in the 2010 Formula 1 with Mercedes GP did not put him in any podium finish. In an interview with Germany’s Auto Motor and Sport he mentioned several problems with his W01 car which did not plague Nico Rosberg’s car. A burned floor, F-duct not working and a 5-degree difference in front wing were just some of the reasons he experienced in his races. Schumi’s 3-year retirement has had its effects coupled with his age and compromise with his car which he found difficult to drive the way he wanted. The Return of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren

A great deal of excitement and thrill is expected with the return of the Mercedes-Benz SLR Mclaren under the name: McLaren SLR Edition. According to a report of Autoblog Germany, 25 units will be produced for the market by Mclaren. A Touch of Kicherer on the Mercedes SLS AMG [Gallery]

Your Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG can have the vehicle’s exterior, interior improved with Kicherer’s development on new aftermarket kits for it, and includes upgrade for its power plant to deliver 610 hp and 670 Nm (494 lb-ft) of torque. The ECU remap did the trick with the stainless steel sports final four-pipe covers. Compare this to the standard factory specs of 571 hp and 651 Nm (480 lb-ft). Mercedes Benz’ concept car the Biome is on the forefront of being developed and expectations are it would be released some time in 2015. It is speculated to be indirect competition of what BMW is developing, their Vision EfficientDynamic car.
