Mercedes-Benz to Release a New Line of Small Cars

Mercedes-Benz is geared to impress the premium small car market next year when it releases an all-new B-Class. Based on senior sources from the company, the car takes inspiration on a latest cutting edge technology. According to the global automotive design chief for Daimler, Gorden Wagener, the latest B-Class is focused at their “loyal clients” that chooses high driving position. Wagener also added that, “The A-class is completely different, a revolution, a benchmark in compact cars. Hello Kitty Designs for Smart ForTwo

It seems that the Smart ForTwo vehicle is a much better candidate for a Hello Kitty makeover than the Ferrari 360 Modena. The Smart Expressions project will present their clients in the US a selection of three different full-body Hello Kitty designs, each with a choice of different color schemes. The company will provide 22 full and partial wrap design and color selections to choose from. According to the president of Sanrio Inc, Janet Hsu, this is the only instance that Sanrio will provide Hello Kitty cars for the US market. Spy Photo: 2011 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate with Modified Interior

Spy photos show the Estate model of the modified 2011 C-Class and a peak into the car’s newly designed dashboard. Though there are still no information with regards to the engineering modifications, it is predicted that the few mechanical changes will showcase its fuel economy and a reduction of CO2 emissions throughout the line. The latest spy photos show the progress of the next generation 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class is coming together. Even though the concealment on this model reveal small details, the latest SL is assumed to get styling cues from the prototype’s line of the famous SLS AMG, which includes the almost 90 degrees grille and also the vertically opposed headlights. Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 Successful in the Second VLN Race

The SLS AMG GT3 culminated with success in its second racing appearance in the 9th race of the VLN long-distance championship held at Nurburgring. The victorious gullwing with a starting number of 738 was operated by the private team Black Falcon, with Thomas Jäger and Christoper Haase being the primary drivers. Daimler and Europcar Partnership Geared to Launch car2go in Hamburg

According to the statement of Daimler, Hamburg is the primary city in which the car2go is being presented as a part of their intended market launch. The launch is set towards the end of the first quarter in 2011, having 300 vehicles to start with. Europcar, the latest partner of car2go, will have a majority 75-percent stake in this shared project. The starting price for renting the car2go in Hamburg will be 29 euro cents a minute or at least 14.90 euros per hour. All of this would include the car’s fuel, insurance, mileage covered and taxes. Mercedes do Brazil Reaches Its Milestone of 400,000 Buses Sold

Mercedes-Benz do Brasil has publicized that it has achieved a record of selling 400,000 buses in their country since the company started manufacturing in its Sao Bernardo do Campo plant in 1956. For many years, the company has been the leader with regards to internal sales, last September 2010, the company recorded a 53% market share. This important milestone was brought about by the O 500 RSD chassis. This vehicle, transported to Vicao Cometa, is one of the 123 chassis O 500 units bought by a client in 2010.
