For those that have been with us from the beginning (almost 3 years), they’ll certainly be shocked by this news. While we feel your pain/anger, you’ll need to understand that the decision to start publishing BMW stories was not an easy one. It took us hours and many heated debates before we chose BMW. Initially we were thinking of going with Lexus, but then we remembered that they are just rebadged Toyotas. Fearing we would unleash endless jokes about such a choice, we discarded that idea. Acura and Infiniti were also out of the question for obvious reasons. At the end it came down to BMW and Audi, but since AudiInsider was taken, we settled on BMW. As you can see the process of choosing BMW was natural and rational. Going forward, all stories will be about BMWs superior handing and will include a pinch of sleaziness and a couple table spoons of arrogance. What will happen to BenzInsider, well if nobody wants it, we’ll just park it and forget about it.
