The Mercedes-Benz Cars division delivered 90,400 vehicles to customers all over the world in January 2008 (January 2007: 77,700). Sales of the Mercedes-Benz, AMG, Maybach, and smart brands thus rose by 16 percent to set a new record. The
Mercedes-Benz brand alone delivered a record-breaking 82,300 passenger cars in January, an increase of 12 percent on the figure for January 2007 (73,500 vehicles).

Mercedes-Benz is celebrating 40th birthday of its famous deluxe coupe, the CL class and for that occasion only 40 special Mercedes AMG vehicles were made.
This special edition AMG Benz really does look the business which offers all the usual AMG upgrades, the Mercedes Benz CL 65 AMG special edition has a 6.0-liter V12 Biturbo engine with 612 BPH plus a paint finish that is not on any other production model car.
The paint is called Alubeam, which is silver like paint which is made with pigment particles that measure just 30 to 50 nanometers, basically this paint looks like liquid metal.
And yeah, you can buy this masterpiece for just below $300,000.

The SLK 55 AMG now makes an even more dynamic impression. The appearance of the sporty roadster reinforces even more emphatically the car’s claim to being in a league of its own. The restyled front apron with a more pronounced V-shape, the modified Mercedes star, enlarged air dams and a black-painted transverse fin at the bottom ensure a distinctly masculine aura. Large, circular fog lamps with chrome surrounds are now positioned further outwards, enhancing the impression of width. The hot air from the integral engine oil cooler is vented via side outlets in the front apron. The exclusive SLK 55 AMG bodystyling also includes AMG side skirts, the muscular AMG rear apron with a black insert, along with the AMG spoiler lip.

Spy shots of the new 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-class have arrived. The new E-class, code named W212, is expected to make its presence at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show, and the sales will begin sometime in early 2010. The new car will replace the current E-class which has been in the market since 2003. It will have the usual V6 and V8 engines. The E63 AMG model will be powered by a normally aspirated, 6.3 liter V8, producing in excess of 500 bhp. Also the new E-class will feature conventional brakes instead of Sensotronic Brake Control (SBC) which were present in some of the earlier models. The conventional brakes will have special features like wet-weather disc wiping and wheel-selective cornering brake control.
